How do I wash the Joco product?
Good news: The Active Flask is dishwasher safe and utilising the top rack is recommended. Due to the small size of Utility lid components, it is recommended to wash these with a controlled and monitored approach such as handwashing.
Sleeves may be slippery when wet or when heated to high temperatures. Ensure all components are dry before use.
Do not use damaged product, handle broken glass with care.
Are your products microwave safe?
Most certainly. All Joco cup components are microwave safe. Be sure to remove the lid before reheating any liquids, and definitely check the temperature before drinking.
Will the silicone stain
Joco silicone is a non-porous material so unlike plastic it will not absorb stains, odours or bacteria. If you do find a mark or an odour, this will just be on the surface. If general washing does not remove this, a paste formed using a mix of bicarbonate soda and water is well suited to removing any such blemish.
Can I put it in the Freezer?
While borosilicate glass is thermal shock resistant, it is not resistant to impact or pressure related forces. Freezing your Active Flask particularly when liquid is contained is not recommended.
Small parts are a potential choking hazard, (not recommended for young children).
Take care when assembling components.
Ensure the vessel and components are not damaged prior use.
Take care with lid, despite being secure and dependable, it is not lockable and may dislodge in certain situations.
Always ensure lid is properly sealed, & don’t over fill. Borosilicate glass is thermal shock resistant, but still use caution during rapid temperature changes.
Max temperature of 200°C – 392°F. Thermal shock resistance of 185°C – 356°F.
Do not use damaged product. Handle broken glass with care.
